We want to improve the ways that autistic people are taught about sex, sexuality, gender, and relationships. So, we are looking for autistic adults to discuss their experiences of sex education in online focus groups, with other autistic adults. 

 

We are looking for people who:

• Are autistic (formally diagnosed or self-identified)

• Are aged 18+

• Live in Australia

• Went to school in Australia, and

• Are able to take part in a text-based focus group using Facebook.

The focus groups will run for six weeks. It will take about 30 minutes each week to participate in a focus group. We will give participants a gift card for their time and effort. 

​

This research is being conducted by autistic researcher Dr Jac den Houting, together with Professor Liz Pellicano and Professor Tiffany Jones.
